Jordan Islamic Bank ( JIB ) celebrated the opening of its new 23rd office in Ebin & Eblin /Ajloun governorate by holding a gala reception under the patronage of Mr. Musa Shihadeh , CEO – General Manager of JIB on 1/11/2016 in the office location near Ishtafina triangle / Ebin and Eblin by the attendance of Ajloun Governor, Dr. Falah Swilmin, the deputy, Safa Momani and head of teachers’ syndicate Mr. Basel Frayhat with a participation of residents and dignitaries of the area and the bank’s clients who welcomed JIB’s new location in their area.
Mr. Shihadeh expressed how much pleased he is with opening a new office within Ajloun governorate in which the bank has a branch since 1991 in addition to Kafranja branch since 1997 so that the bank’s network of branches and offices comprises 96. However, opening the office in Ebin and Eblin, which is the first Jordanian bank in the area ,contributes to lessen the burden on the main branch in Ajloun, to ensure Islamic banking services for biggest number of clients , to serve residents of Ajloun governorate and its subsidiary villages , save time and effort and the burden of movement from one branch to another. In addition, an ATM is ensured in the new location of the office so that the number of ATMs distributed in the different branches and offices of the banks and some public utilities reach 184 in addition to the various electronic banking services provided by the bank via internet and SMS.
He asserted as well the continuation to apply the branching plan and reach of the bank by opening branches and offices which cover different areas of the Hashemite kingdom of Jordan Within the banks financial inclusion policy , where during current October a City Centre office will be opened within Irbid governorate and Gwerieh branch will be moved to a new location. The bank will resume its branching plan for the next year to meet the needs of its clients and be close to them.
