Jordan Islamic Bank moved its branch in Al-Hashemi Street, Irbid Governorate, to a new location owned by the bank in the same street at the entrance of the "Bushra Travel Complex – Saal" on 8/16/2020.
Dr. Hussein Said, CEO / General Manager of Jordan Islamic Bank, stated that it is an enhancement of the bank’s assets and implementation for the bank’s plan to spread geographically by dispensing with rented buildings and replacing them with buildings owned by the bank, the bank’s branch in Irbid governorate, Hashemi Street, which was opened in 1991, was moved to a new location, confirming the importance of the bank’s presence in Al-Hashemi Street, which is a vital and active commercial area, indicating that Since its establishment in 1978, and this confirms on the importance of the bank’s presence in Al-Hashemi Street, which is a vital and active commercial area, indicating that the bank has endeavor, since its establishment in 1978, to strengthen its presence in various parts of the Kingdom in the service of the national economy and the local community until the bank has 108 branches and offices spread throughout the kingdom, the bank has been present in the governorate of Irbid with the opening of its fifth branch in Baghdad Street since 1981 until the bank within the governorate of Irbid had 15 branches and offices in (Baghdad Street, Al Hashimi Street, Palestine Street, Aidoun Street, Hakama Street, Al Hosn Street, City Center, Bani Kenana, Deir Abi Said, North Shouneh, Ramtha, Taybeh, Al Shajarah, Tora, and Northern Shrine), The bank will continue to implement its expansion plan for the year 2020 by opening new branches and offices, transferring offices to branches or transferring branches to buildings owned by the bank to meet the needs of the bank’s customers and to attract new customers. This is based on studies prepared for geographical expansion that take into account the economic, social and developmental aspects, contribute to increasing the bank’s share in the banking market, and maintain the strength of the bank’s financial position, while seeking to enhance digital banking services.
It is worth mentioning that the bank has started implementing the geographical spread plan for this year by moving its branch in the Hai Maasoum / Zarqa Governorate to a new location owned by the bank
