Jordan Islamic Bank announced that moving its branch in Hai Maasoum / Zarqa Governorate to a new site owned by the bank and opposite the old site in the same Farouk Street, as of Sunday 21/6/2020.
Dr. Hussein Said, CEO of JIB said that our bank has a strategy based on dispense with the buildings of the branches and rented offices and replacing them with buildings owned by the bank that take into account the geographical presence near our customers, population groups and the economic activity of the region, while keeping pace with the latest modern technological developments to provide the best banking and investment services compliant with the principles of Islamic Sharia, the transfer of Hai Maasoum branch, which was opened in 1997, to a new location for the bank to maintain its location within Zarqa Governorate, which is the second largest Governorate in the Kingdom in terms of population density. Where the bank have13 branches and offices in Zarqa Governorate that cover the various regions of the governorate, which are (Zarqa, Russeifa, Al Ghuwairiyah, Al Hashemieh, Yajouz, Hai Maasoum, New Zarqa, West Zarqa, Al Dhlail, Wadi Al Hajar, Hittin, Awajan, Free Zone) In addition to the bank’s presence in all governorates of the Kingdom, with 108 branches and offices, with the provision of banking services during official holidays and the evening period in some branches and offices.
Dr. Hussein indicated that the bank continues to implement the expansion and geographical spread plan during the current year by opening new branches and offices or converting offices into branches or moving them to new locations owned by the bank and in parallel with the continuous expansion in providing digital services such as mobile banking and I-Banking services, and expansion in banking services through ATMs, which are 258 devices, and the provision of SMS service, so that our bank customers can obtain the best services with ease.
