The success of the imaginary evacuation process of JIB

Based on the Jordan Islamic Bank’s implementation of the occupational safety and health system by taking the necessary measures that achieve prevention and reduce risks for the human and material elements, the bank and in cooperation with the General Directorate of Civil Defense, implemented a successful a trial evacuation experiment for the Head Office building located in Shmeisani, Yacoub Sarrouf Street, and within the scenario of the occurrence of a virtual fire, with the aim of training and qualifying employees on how to deal with emergencies and evacuations, on Tuesday, 29/11/2022. Dr. Hussein Said, CEO / General Manager of Jordan Islamic Bank, said, “Based on our bank’s practical implementation of the highest standards of occupational safety and health, and the spread of full awareness among our employees in the event of any emergency or natural disasters, “God forbid,” the readiness and preparedness of all employees in the bank is in how to dealing with evacuation operations and introducing emergency exits and assembly points, until the arrival of the civil defense teams, indicating that the public safety teams formed in the bank are at the highest level of readiness and professionalism, as they were trained within a program prepared for this purpose by the General Directorate of Civil Dr. Hussein Said praised the efforts of the Civil Defense Directorate for their effective role in spreading awareness of safety procedures and training workers in various institutions on how to face risks in order to preserve the safety of lives and property.
