JIB’s activities during the Holy month of Ramadan

Jordan Islamic Bank (JIB) is a primary and efficient participant in different local activities implemented during the holy month of Ramadan as a practical application  of assuming the bank its social responsibilities which increase during Ramadan month through supporting various social and educative  activities. In the cultural field, the bank is used to provide monetary prizes for religious competitions that are published annually in the local newspapers  and provide prizes for the daily Ramadan competition on Amen FM radio, in addition to broadcast awareness phrases concerning virtues of fasting across the Jordanian TV. The sponsorship of religious and educative programs  and Jordan Reciter program for the sixth year respectively. The bank continues its support for the International Hashemite Competition for Memorization and Recital of Holy Quran organized annually by the Ministry of Awqaf and Religious Affairs during the holy month of Ramadan by a participation of several Arab and Islamic countries. To strengthen the participatory relation between JIB and local community institutions including charity associations, the bank contributed to provide the support and donation for many charity Iftar banquets organized by many voluntary associations and their returns  for the benefit of less – lucky categories in society and the poor. Some of these associations include: Charity Islamic Centre Society, handouts committee in Irbid. The continuation to support charity Iftar event to serve Palestinians refugees held annually by Jordan Association for Palestinian medical Aid . sponsor the Iftar of 120 orphans in the university of Jordan , charity Iftar of Royal Air Force Club, Jordanian Teachers syndicate – Mafraq branch , Jordan News Agency ( Petra ) and Jordan Geologists Association. To assert the bank’s management interest to sustain its communication with the employees , JIB holds annually Iftar  event for its employees in the head office and branches. The bank contributed for the second consecutive year to provide the support for the national campaign to ensure Eid Clothes for the poors in Jordan   in cooperation with Husna FM. N addition to support the Rehabilitation of Gifted Autistic Children Society , Zakat Fund in the Ministry of Awqaf and Religious Affairs, Subaihi Zakat committee. Moreover, the bank continues to sponsor the annual Ramadan campaign of Central Traffic Department through providing water and dates for drivers in all the kingdom’s governorates to reduce traffic accidents.
