Sponsorship of Jordan Islamic Bank for the tenth year for the ceremony honoring the families of cornea donors

His Royal Highness Prince Raad bin Zaid honored Mr. Musa Shehadeh, Chairman of the Board of Directors of JIB, in recognition of the bank's sponsorship of the honoring ceremony for the families of the cornea donors and the distribution of certificates of appreciation, which is organized by the Friends of the Jordan Eye Bank and prevention of vision loss and the Jordan Eye Bank Committee for the tenth consecutive year, In the presence of the CEO / General manager of JIB Dr. Hussein Said and His assistants, and Families of donated and corneal donors and their families, at Jabri Restaurant on Saturday 23/11/2019. Prince Raad expressed his happiness with this meeting between the people of the country, inviting for increasing awareness of the importance of donating corneas and expanding them in various governorates of the Kingdom, and he praised the role of JIB and its management in the continuation of supporting this ceremony, along with many other supporters. In a speech delivered during the ceremony, Mr. Musa Shehadeh stressed the bank's keenness to contribute to the annual honoring of the families of the cornea donors and their benefactors, and the presence in any work that contributes to achieving the principle of social solidarity and serves the country and enhances the sustainable partnership between the bank and the Friends of Jordan Eye Bank, prevention of vision loss and the Jordan Eye Bank praised the national efforts to raise awareness of the importance of donating corneas, pointing out that the initiative of the Bank ten years ago to support this ceremony is the culmination of the Bank's humanitarian and social activities and is one of the Bank's most prominent annual activities in the field of Social responsibility. For his part, Dr. Hussein Said that JIB continues to shoulder its social responsibilities and support national efforts to raise awareness and education of the importance of donating corneas in addition to supporting all efforts That are directed to people with disabilities that need all the support and access to banking, finance and investment services and facilitate access to information related to Out, In implementation of the financial consumer protection instructions for clients with disabilities No. (18/2018) issued by the Central Bank of Jordan, we have completed, as a first stage, the processing of more than 10% of our bank's branches and offices, providing many supportive measures to deal with persons with disabilities in various categories. (Audio-visual and motor) with the constant pursuit of the latest developments that serve persons with disabilities and take their hand and support.
