Jordan Islamic Bank (JIB) held a reception to celebrate the transformation of Madaba West Office into a branch in the same location Madaba West Road, Madaba Governorate, opposite Jordan Electric Power Company. The reception was held under the patronage of Dr. Hussein Said, CEO / General Manager of JIB with the presence of the Governor of Madaba, Dr. Bilal Nsour, Assistants General Manager, Executive Directors of the Bank, a group of the Bank's clients, and a number of directors of government departments in the region, dignitaries and residents of Madaba as of 7/7/2019. Dr. Hussein Said expressed how much pleased he is with the geographical spread of the Bank through 107 branches and offices covering various parts of the Kingdom. He pointed out that the conversion of western Madaba Office, which was opened in 2015, to the 78th branch of the Bank, is an application of the expansion plan to provide investment and financing services in accordance with the provisions and principles of Islamic Sharia for the residents of the western region of Madaba which witnesses a large activity and includes many shops, tourist sites, universities and government institutions. Thus, the bank in Madaba has two branches and an office. Its first branch is located in Petra Street and Thiban office on the main road of Thiban royal road in addition to its second branch in western Madaba. However, the bank provides other electronic banking services, which are in line with the latest developments (I-Banking, Mobile Banking, SMS and electronic payment service, 235 ATMs spread across the Kingdom, including instant deposit service). Dr. Hussein added that the bank will continue to implement the branching plan this year with the opening of new branches and offices or the transfer of offices to branches in most of the Kingdom's governorates. During the coming week, the office of Ain Al-Basha will be transferred to a branch. However, Northern Mazar office and Western Zarqa branch were opened at the beginning of this year.
