Jordan Islamic Bank announced the transformed of the bank’s office in Shafa Badran / the Capital Governorate to the eighty-fifth branch, in the same location in the Shafa Badran area - Shafa Badran Street, as of Sunday, 30/10/ 2022.
On this occasion, Dr. Hussein Said, CEO/General Manager of Jordan Islamic Bank, said, “Our bank has been present in the Shafa Badran area since 2017, to be the first bank in the region that lacked branches for other banks, and as a result of the expansion of economic activity and the high demand for our services and to distinguish the region by active commercial movement, high population density, and the presence of many commercial complexes, medical centers, universities, schools and government departments, and in order to facilitate our bank’s customers and attract new customers, the decision came to transform the office into a branch to provide all Islamic banking and finance services, as our bank spreads throughout the Kingdom with 111 branches and offices, including 49 branches and offices within the Capital Governorate, Amman.
Dr. Hussein Said stressed the bank’s keenness to implement its strategic plan to expand by providing banking, financing and investment services in compliance with the provisions and principles of Islamic Sharia through geographical expansion in various regions of the Kingdom, where before the end of the current year 2022, four other offices will be converted into branches within different regions in the Kingdom ( Dahiyat al-Rasheed, Al- Mafraq Gate, Al Mazar al Shamali and Aqaba).
