Based on the expansion strategy of Jordan Islamic Bank and to deliver the banking, investment and financing services that compatible with the provisions and principles of Islamic Sharia to the largest possible number of current and prospective dealers, the bank announced the transfer of its office in the Eben Eblen area / Ajloun Governorate to a branch in the same current location near Ishtafina triangle /Eben Eblen, as of 18/10/2020.
On this occasion, Dr. Hussein Said, CEO / General Manager of JIB, said that the transfer of the Eben Eblen office to the eighty-third branch, besides 25 bank offices spread throughout the Kingdom, comes in implementation of the financial inclusion policy and geographical expansion by providing investment and financing services to serve the largest number of dealers and residents of Ajloun governorate and villages affiliated to it and to facilitate on them. Our bank is located in Ajloun governorate with three branches (Ajloun, Kafranjeh, Eben Eblen), The first branch was opened in the governorate in 1991, and JIB was the first bank to be located within the Eben Eblen area by opening a bank office in 2016, in addition to implementing the geographic spread plan for the year 2020 by converting offices into branches or opening new branches and offices or moving to owned buildings. The bank has 108 branches and offices spread throughout the Kingdom, while continuing to expand the financing of individuals, companies and Small and Mid-size Enterprise (SME), to provide financing products that meet the desires and needs of the banking market and comply with the provisions and principles of Islamic sharia, and implement the digital transformation plan and expand the introduction of new electronic banking services in Light of the continuing spread of the Corona pandemic, for the continuity of communication with our customers at all times.
