Jordan Islamic Bank and Jordan Nurses & Midwives Council (JNMC) signed a joint cooperation agreement in renewal of the agreements that started since 2009, through which the bank continues to provide Islamic finances and banking services according to the provisions and principles of Islamic Sharia with competitive prices and comfortable conditions and in for the council’s associates, retirees and employees for the purposes of possessing houses or purchasing cars or furniture, electrical appliances, cars, and other goals. The agreement signed by JIB CEO, General Manager Dr. Hussein said and President of JNMC Mr. Khaled Rababaa attended by assistant of general manager of JIB and manager of individual's bank in JIB and members of the Syndicate Council, in the Professional Associations Complex building on Thursday 23/1/2020. Dr. Hussein said that the renewal of this agreement with the Nurse Syndicate comes in furtherance of the sustainable partnership that brings our bank with the Syndicate and aims to continue to benefit the union's employees from all the modern services and products provided by the bank in addition to the services agreed in the previous agreements, at competitive prices and comfortable conditions according to the provisions and principles of Islamic law. He explained that the funds provided according to the agreement include the Murabaha sale formulas for the purchase order (for the purchase of apartments, houses, building materials, lands, furniture, electrical appliances, cars, etc.), the lease ending in ownership form for the purchase of (housing and land), the mode of Musawamah and the lease described in the dhimma (a product for Hajj and Umrah and Iqra’a product for financing education And a Shifa’a product for medical treatment and tourism product) and the sale of istisna (for construction), in addition to the participation of the applicant in the mutual insurance fund, various electronic services, mobile banking, and I-Banking ), The service of E-fawateercom, the short message service (SMS) and the issuance of bank cards of all kinds (Visa and Master Card) provided by the bank, Stressing the bank’s keenness to maintain communication with various local community institutions and official and union bodies to confirm the bank’s assumption of its economic and social responsibilities as it complies with many of these institutions and different destinations with memoranda of understanding since several years to benefit from the bank’s services with competitive prices and comfortable conditions. For his part, Dr. Khaled Rababaa said that the union has been keen through this agreement, to provide financing and investment advantages for its members in accordance with the provisions and principles of Islamic Sharia and contribute to their support, expressing his pride in cooperation with JIB, and invite all employees, retirees and employees of the union in the center and the branches covered by the retirement fund and social security for the union, taking advantages and facilities which are provided by JIB for union members to obtain funds and various banking services.
