Honoring JIB for sponsoring the campaign of Conservation of Holy Quran Society

Dr  Mohammad AlMajali, Chairman of the Conservation of the Holy Quran Society handed Mr. Musa Shihadeh, CEO & General Manager of JIB a copy of the Holy Quran as an honorary gift in appreciation of the bank’s continual support for activities of the society and its annual campaigns including this year’s campaign organized by the conservation of the Holy Quran society in cooperation with Hayat FM to support programs and quranic, educational and cultural activities of the society and continue the establishment of residential endowments whose proceeds from lease are for the benefit of the Society’s operations. The campaign was launched on March 10th 2016 during a charitable luncheon in Jabri Restaurant by a participation of elite of scholars including Dr Mohammad Rateb Al-Nabulsi, Dr Ahmad Nofal and Dr Amjad Qourshah. However, Dr AlMajali commended JIB’s role in supporting national economy and social progress in Jordan in addition to support memorizers of Holy Quran and its interest in sponsoring the annual campaigns of people of Holy Quran which support programs aiming to encourage memorization of holy Quran and honor its memorizers. For his part, Mr. Musa Shihadeh said the bank’s participation in supporting campaigns of the conservation of Holy Quran society affirms assuming our social responsibilities towards society and paying special attention to the conservation of Holy Quran through providing the sponsorship, honor and prizes for memorizers of Holy Quran. The total donations the JIB provided to support associations and competitions of Holy Quran memorization since its inception till the end of 2015 amounting to about JD 704 thousand including JD 424 thousand for International Hashemite competitionof memorizing, reading, reciting, and interpreting the Holy Quranwhich is organized annually by the Ministry of Awqaf and Religious Affairs and JD 280 thousand to support associations and competitions of Holy Quran Memorization including Conservation of Holy Quran society.
