Honoring JIB for supporting the Annual Conference for Accountants

The Secretary – General of Union of Arab Universities, Dr Sultan Abu Orabi handed Dr Hussein Said, Deputy General Manager of Jordan Islamic Bank (JIB) an honorary shield in appreciation of the bank’s supporting the annual conference for accountants titled “New Amendments and Developments of International  Financial  Reporting Standards (IFRS)”. However, the conference was launched under the patronage of Dr Abu Orabi , with a participation of 150 experts, speakers and representatives of local and Arab institutions , by an organization of Osool Training & Consulting in Sheraton Hotel on 22/8/2016 Dr. Hussein Said said supporting the annual conference for accountants  corresponds with the bank’s assuming its social responsibilities through providing the support and participation in different conferences and forums that aim to develop national economy , upgrade corporate performance and find out outcomes contribute to develop specialized professions such as accounting and others. Moreover, this conference is considered  a good opportunity  to acquaint participating accountants and related parties with the most important amendments in the International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), asserting the bank’s participation in such meetings. For his part, Mr. Husam Ameen , Chairman of Osool extended his thanks to Jordan Islamic Bank and other institutions supporting the conference. He commended as well the importance of this conference which seeks to acquaint the participants with the challenges  related to achieving quality in accounting information in the light of the instability of accounting environment due to the accelerating  amendments in the International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)  and acquaint them with the new and future  developments in IFRS as of the next year.
