JIB continues to honor relatives of cornea donors

Under the patronage of HRH Prince Raad Bin Zaid , Chief Chamberlain , Jordan Islamic Bank (JIB) continued ,for the seventh consecutive year,  to hold a luncheon in honor of relatives of cornea donors in which  certificates of appreciation distributed to the relatives, supporting bodies and volunteers in cooperation with Jordan Eye Bank Friend Society and Prevention of Blindness  and Jordan Eye Bank at Jabri restaurant on Saturday 5/11/2016. HRH Prince Raad bin Zaid expressed how much pleased he is with this annual meeting which is held to honor relatives of cornea donors and with the invitation of JIB represented by Mr. Musa Shihadeh, the General Manager of this grand Jordanian banking institution  for its charitable initiatives and holding this honoring celebration annually to support activities of Eye Bank Friend Society and Prevention of blindness to encourage cornea donation, commending all efforts exerted to enhance the education of cornea donation. HRH and Mr. Shihadeh exchanged souvenirs in a celebration of the joint efforts to diffuse the education of cornea donation. Mr. Shihadeh delivered a statement during the celebration in which he commended the efforts of HRH Prince Raad, Jordan Eye Bank and its Friends Society in expanding the diffusion of the cornea donation awareness programs so that Jordan has reached an advanced status among countries of the world in achieving self-efficiency in ensuring donated corneas for people who need them. He appreciated as well making a room for JIB , for the seventh consecutive year, to hold this honoring celebration for relatives of cornea donors which has become one of the most prominent annual social activities of our bank to meet an elite of Jordan community citizens who donate the corneas of their beloved ones, asserting the continuation of JIB as a national and economic institution to participate in any activity contributes to consolidate the base of community and lending a helping hand to each individuals needs it, For his part, Dr. Muawiah Bdour, Director General of Jordan Eye Bank extended his thanks and appreciation of Jordan Islamic Bank for its continual support of activities of Jordan Eye Bank and its annual sponsorship for this honoring celebration and for all efforts exerted to support Jordan Eye Bank. Relatives of cornea donors and  people who were donated cornea delivered statements in which they showed their experience in the donation and they extended their thanks for HRH Prince Raad Bin Zaid, Jordan Islamic Bank, Jordan Eye Bank and its Friends Society for holding this honoring celebration ,commending the efforts exerted to support this charitable business.
